Mommy mommy why must we shine? Why must be shine so bright?
We shine all night, it's such an awful site! All the wondering all the flights. We aimlessly shine through this whole dark night.
Oh my sweet Little fire, we must fly. We must shine. It's our world, it's our life. It's what we do, trust mommy... we do it right and bright you'll see the reason you'll see the light. now go go fly fly...let your little light ignite!
Off she flew she flew so high
Up she went, away, away into the darkness of the the grey sky.
Soon she was wondering amongst the free summer breeze Alone at last no lights to be seen.
Her little light flared! She thought to herself, oh could it be right!
Oh me oh my! It's a clear night.
No bright lights, no more shining fires blurring my sight.
Then she heard it... Subtle and clear. Should she let loose of her fear? Oh no... Just wait... That was only a tear, dropping on the ground around.
Up she looked to this magnificent sight!
She stood so tall she stood with quite some might.
Her eyes were sparkling from the crying. Little fire was consumed with this marvelous beauty that she noticed not, just what was reflecting In her sparkling eyes.
Away she flew, speeding up! If she only knew... Closer closer closer she grew. Suddenly! She stopped.
Her little fire flickered, she tried to make it stop. Would she scare it off with this part of her she couldn't fight? A little fire that long ago she was born to ignite?
Hello! Hello! She began to say, off she raddled why she shouldn't stay. My light is so bright, soon I fear it's going to ignite! It even might burn your sight. I wish I could take it away so I could stay... She went on and on believing she was heard. But no, she hadn't, not one single word.
Little fire began to wonder, why oh why would this girl not turn her gorgeous sparkling eyes. It's this fire! This worthless fire! I wish it would have never have began to ignite.
It's not quite all the way bright, maybe I can dim it! Turn down my light. Then she will look then she will see, she'll see me how I see her eyes. Such a beautiful sight.
So as she began to turn towards the field of her shuttering fire flies. She uttered the thought of returning to such a bright light, oh the struggle. Oh me oh my, this fight.
She turned around, for just one more view of those beautiful sparkling eyes.
Just then as her view aligned she began to realize what it was this girl had locked in her sight.
It couldn't be! No way would she ever think.. But wait... Oh my!
Away went her breath, to this beautiful thing that shined so bright!
It was a field of sparkles that fly!
Up and around! Twirling in the sky. One went left another went right.
Two side by side away they took flight... It was such a beautiful sight.
Little fire began to buzz back to her mommy she had to share this with her. She had to this very night.
She had forgotten about the girl. The one who had caught the eye of this little fire that could fly!
She forgot what she had seen, she forgot what she wanted, she forgot to even wonder why such a beautiful thing would ever cry!
Mommy mommy, come mommy come see! The most wonderful thing I've ever seen!
Up they flew through all these dag-on bright lights. Oh Fire would love to never see one more ignite. But not now! she wouldn't complain she had to show mommy this one great thing!
Around the tree, above the meadow, through the tower of straw that seemed oh quite so tall. Her light was flickering, she didn't even realize to try... To try not to let it ignite.
If it blew up, if her fire fully shined. It would be too hard, too hard to fight.
It would consume her, shine so bright. She wouldn't be able to see, any other sight.
She would fly around in circles and shine. This was the destiny if she was to ignite.
She had seen a sight, she had seen the most beautiful thing. She had to share, she had no light care!
And to a halt Fire, no more would fly! She flung around swinging mommy so high! She stopped to stare... Off into the sky.
Up ahead was this beautiful sight.
It sparkled it swirled, above, down low, oh mommy where did that one go!
What is it mommy! Oh what a world.
The girl! The beautiful girl she seen! She saw this sight, oh I wish it was me!
Oh my sweet little fire, don't you see... That is our world that's just like me.
That's your fire fly life up above us so bright.
The sparkles the swirls, that's the fire inside
The bright little light you've fought to ignite. That my little Fire, is your beautiful sight.
And suddenly it seemed so clear from close up it was never quite right... But now she knew the point of her light.
As she began to wonder in thought, mommy sparkled a time or two... For little Fire had no longer fought the desire. The desire within for her light to ignite.
Now off to the fields she flew full of a few found fight. Not for the fire to never ignite, but the struggle to keep it alive!
Turning once more to the beautiful girl, her gorgeous sparkling sight... Wondering what might have caused her to stop and cry this night.
For little Fire couldn't see past the sparkle in the eye, past the mystery to the girl's history.
Little did she know the girl had to grow, she needed to let go of her own light for it to ignite.
She had ran too long, she ran from her home. She ran from her heart.
She had stopped when she seen such a gorgeous mystery.
Why God up above would place a light in this simple pointless bug,
yet nothing in me.
She wondered and pondered upon a conclusion, it just didn't make sense but could that mean? That if a little bug was so special to receive such a gorgeous bit of love, did He install a beautiful sparkle in me?
For in this story not one but two Little Fires found their light to ignite. One was self worth the other was for a love of life. So off they would go into the night, different worlds different directions but one things was the same. A fire was inside, a fire they finally let go to ignite.
